Reaction time test
Click the box to start. When it turns from red to green, click as fast as you can. Your time is shown in milliseconds and the page keeps your average and best.
How it works
- Click the box to start.
- Wait for the colour to change to green. Do not click early.
- Click as soon as it turns green. Repeat for a better average.
What the number means
The result is the time from the colour change to your click. Most people score between 200 and 300 milliseconds. Under 200 is quick.
Random waiting time
The wait before green is random, between about one and a half and four and a half seconds, so you cannot guess the moment.
Why your result varies
Your screen, mouse or touchscreen and the browser add a small delay of their own, often 20 to 60 milliseconds. Use the same device when comparing scores.
For fun, not medicine
This is a casual game. It is not a medical or professional test of reflexes.
