How it works

Sizes included
Choose 35 x 45 mm, the 2 x 2 inch US size, 40 x 50 mm, 30 x 40 mm or 25 x 35 mm. Which size your application needs depends on the country and the form, so always check its instructions.
Sheets
The sheet can be 4 x 6 inch, 5 x 7 inch or A4. A 35 x 45 mm photo gives six copies on a 4 x 6 inch sheet. A small margin and gap are kept so the printer does not cut off any photo.
Getting the crop right
Use the zoom and the two sliders to centre the face and fit the head size your form asks for. Take the original photo straight on, in even light, against a plain background.
Printing
Print at 100% or "actual size", never "fit to page", or the photos will not come out at the right size. Cutting guides can be turned on or off.
Questions
Will this be accepted for my passport?
Official offices have strict rules about the background, head size and expression. This tool does the sizing and layout, and you must make sure the photo itself meets the rules.
Does it remove the background?
No. Use a plain light background when you take the photo.
What resolution is the sheet?
300 dpi, which is standard for photo printing.
Is my photo private?
Yes. It never leaves your browser.
