- Enter the date and time, or the hours, minutes and seconds.
- Watch the clock count down.
Counting down to a date
Pick any future date and time in your own time zone. The remaining days, hours, minutes and seconds update every second. Add an event name to remind yourself what you are waiting for.
A timer for a length of time
Set hours, minutes and seconds for cooking, study sessions or breaks, then press Start timer.
Time zones
The date uses your device's time zone. If you are timing an event in another place, convert its time first with the time zone converter.
The sound alert
A short beep plays when the time is up. Browsers only allow sound after you have interacted with the page, so press Start timer first for the timer to be heard.
Questions
What happens at zero?
The display stops at zero and says the time is up. In date mode it says the time has passed.
Is it accurate if my computer sleeps?
Yes. The time left is worked out from the clock each time, so it catches up when the page wakes.
Can I share the countdown?
Not yet. It lives only on this page.
Is anything stored?
No. Nothing is saved or uploaded.
