Time zone converter

Pick a date and time in one time zone and see what time it is in many places at once. Add or remove places, and see when the date changes. Daylight saving time is handled for the date you choose.

Pick a date and time.

Daylight saving time is applied for the date you choose, using your browser's built-in time zone data. Nothing is sent anywhere.

How it works

  1. Choose the time zone you start from and the date and time there.
  2. Read the times for the other places in the table.
  3. Add more places with the list under the table.

Daylight saving

The tool uses the time zone database built into your browser, so it knows when each place changes its clocks. The same hour can have a different offset in summer and winter, which is why you choose a date, not only a time.

Plan a meeting

Set the time of your meeting in your own zone and check each guest's local time. The date column shows +1 day or -1 day when the date is different from where you started.

Names and offsets

Zones are named by region and city, such as Asia/Dhaka, because that is how the database identifies them. The offset column shows the difference from UTC at the time you chose.

Your own zone

The page starts in the time zone set on your device, with the current time.

Questions

Is it accurate for future dates?

It uses your browser's current time zone rules. If a country changes its rules later, the result can be off until browsers update.

What happens in the hour when clocks skip forward?

That hour does not exist, so the tool shows the nearest valid time.

Does it use my location?

No. It reads only the time zone setting of your device.

Why is my city missing?

Time zones are named by a major city in the region. Choose the one in your zone.
