How it works

Set the number of rows and columns.
Type into the cells. Turn the heading row on or off.
Pick a style and copy the HTML.

Heading row

With the heading row on, the first row uses th cells inside thead and the rest use td cells inside tbody. This helps screen readers and search engines understand the table.

Styling choices

None gives a bare table. Inline CSS adds borders and padding so it looks right even in an email or a page with no stylesheet. Class adds class="table" so your own CSS can style it.

Caption

A caption names the table. It is read out by screen readers and is good practice for any data table.

Size limits

The grid goes up to 20 rows and 10 columns. For bigger tables, paste your data into the CSV to HTML table tool instead.

Yes, so characters like < and & are safe.
