Toolstia / AVIF to JPG converter

Convert AVIF images to JPG

AVIF makes small files, but many apps, forms and older programs still cannot open it. Convert your images to JPG here and they work everywhere. Everything happens on your device.

Drop images here, or click to choose

AVIF images, up to 30 at a time. Nothing is uploaded.

The converted file is rebuilt from the pixels, so photo metadata such as GPS is not carried over.

How it works

  1. Drop your AVIF files.
  2. Choose JPG, PNG or WebP and the quality.
  3. Download each file.

Browser support

Your browser must be able to open AVIF for this to work. Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari can. If a file fails, update your browser.

Quality

AVIF is already compressed, so converting to JPG at a high quality setting gives a larger file with similar looks. Pick the quality that suits where you will use the picture.

Transparency

JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas turn white. Choose PNG or WebP to keep it.

Metadata

Files are rebuilt from the pixels, so details like camera data and GPS are not copied across.
