Convert plain text to HTML
Text copied from a document or an email has no HTML tags. Paste it here and get paragraphs wrapped in p tags, with single line breaks turned into br tags. Characters like &, < and > are escaped so they show up as written.
How it works

Paragraph mode
A blank line starts a new paragraph. A single line break inside a paragraph becomes a br tag, so poems and addresses keep their shape.
Line break mode
Use this when you do not want p tags, for example inside an element that already exists. Every line break becomes a br tag.
Escaping
The characters &, <, > and the double quote are replaced with HTML entities. That stops pasted text from being read as code.
What it does not do
It does not guess headings, bold text or lists. For those, write Markdown and use the Markdown to HTML converter.
Questions
Will it keep my bold and italics from Word?
No. Only plain text is kept, which is what makes the HTML clean.
Does it work with Bangla?
Yes. Any text is kept as it is.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Your text stays in your browser and is never sent anywhere.
