Best for simple images
Signatures, logos and stamps compress very well because they have large flat areas. A full colour photograph is hard to squeeze to 10 KB without losing detail, so expect it to be much smaller in pixels.
Get a better signature
Sign with a dark pen on plain white paper, photograph it in good light, and crop tightly around the signature first. A tight crop leaves more of the 10 KB for the signature itself.
If it will not fit
The tool tells you when it cannot reach the limit without making the picture tiny. In that case crop the image more, or check whether the form allows a slightly larger file.
