Upside down text generator
Type your text and get an upside-down version you can paste into social media bios, chats and posts. Letters, digits and common punctuation are flipped and the line is reversed so it reads correctly when turned over.
Letters are swapped for look-alike characters and the line is reversed, so it reads correctly when turned upside down. Characters with no flipped version are left as they are, and some apps may show a few of the symbols differently.

How it works
Each letter is replaced by a Unicode character that looks like the letter turned 180 degrees, and the order is reversed. Hello becomes ollǝH.
Where it works
Because the result is ordinary text characters, it can be pasted anywhere that accepts Unicode. A few symbols may look different in some fonts or apps.
What is left alone
Characters without a flipped version, such as most non-Latin scripts and emoji, are left as they are.
Accessibility
Screen readers may read flipped text as strange symbols, so avoid it for anything important.

Does it work on Instagram or WhatsApp?
Usually yes, since it is plain Unicode text.
Can I flip it back?
Paste the flipped text in again and it flips back for most letters.
Is anything uploaded?
No. Everything is done in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
