Choose a grade and enter credits for at least one course.

Grade scales differ between institutions. Check the scale your university or board uses and choose manual entry if it is different.

How it works

  1. Pick the grade scale.
  2. Choose each course's grade and enter its credits.
  3. Read your GPA, or switch to CGPA to combine semesters.

How GPA is worked out

GPA = sum of (grade points x credits) divided by total credits. A 3-credit A (4.00) and a 3-credit B (3.00) give (12 + 9) / 6 = 3.50.

CGPA across semesters

Enter each semester's credits and GPA. The CGPA is the credit-weighted average, so a semester with more credits counts for more.

Scales differ

Universities use slightly different grade points, such as 3.75 for A- at some and 3.7 at others. If your institution's scale is different, choose manual entry and type your own grade points.

Official results

This is for planning. Your institution's official transcript is the final word, as some apply rules for repeated courses or non-credit courses.
