How it works

- Copy the result.
Plain text matching
What you type in Find is matched exactly as written. Symbols such as . * + ? ( ) are treated as ordinary characters, so you can look for "1+1=2" or "3.5" without any special rules.
Upper and lower case
By default the match ignores case, so "cat" also finds "Cat" and "CAT". Tick the box to match case exactly.
Whole words only
Tick Whole words only so that replacing "cat" does not change "concat" or "category". It works with Bangla and other scripts too.

For wildcards and pattern rules, test your regular expression first in the Regex tester, then apply it where you need it.

No. Everything happens in your browser.
Can I replace with nothing?
Yes. Leave Replace with empty to delete every match.
Does it replace just the first match?
No, all matches are replaced, and the count is shown.
